Puppetry in Education and Therapy Day!

At The Community School of Music and Arts, 330 E State St, Ithaca, NY 3rd Floor, part of Puppet Homecoming, the Northeast Regional Festival for Puppeteers of America
Join puppeteers, teachers, therapists and teaching artists from around the region for an educational day learning and celebrating the many ways puppets can be used in education and therapy. This day of professional development is offered through Puppeteers of America and will feature four hands-on workshops and a series of short presentations sharing all kinds of puppetry ideas happening in the field. Educators will receive a certificate for 6 hours of CPE credits.

The day will also be peppered with short presentations from puppeteers on their work in school and community settings, including presentation from Adelka Polak, Jen Pearcy-Edwards, Cheryl Capezzuti and more.
